We are always on the hunt for unique and interesting southern wedding venues to tour, photograph and recommend to our brides. . Otter Creek, a premiere wingshooting farm in Ohatchee Alabama, is one of our new favorites. About an hour east of Birmingham, the venue is not only beautiful, but offers luxury wedding amenities including gorgeously appointed onsite accommodations for the bridal party. The wedding party and family can enjoy seasonal wingshooting, fishing, hiking or relaxing by the infinity pool are on this beautiful secluded property. The venue also offers numerous options for your wedding day with an impressive stone and timber framed hall , lovely adjoining lawn and customer timber ceremony arbor overlooking a scenic rolling landscape. For our wedding inspiration photography we chose a sporting them. A wild quail game bird motif was added to our invitation and one of Otter Creek's line of working spaniels (also a sweet furry model) graced our custom bar napkins and coasters. A classic blue and white pheasant and quail pattern was carefully selected from the motifs found in Chinese imported porcelains that lined the table. We added crisp white draping to the timbered beams overhead and to the table then flowered the massive stone fireplace and decorated the pavilion arbor with foraged fall leaves . The finishing touch for the sporting groom, a Brackish feather bowtie. If you are looking for a wedding venue with grand views and even grander but inviting interiors with a southern Garden and Gun style, Otter Creek is a gorgeous southern sporting setting for your wedding or event.

There is nothing sweeter than an historic house for a wedding venue but add a Georgia southern front porch and the prettiest pink flower palette for a sweeter day.The McGarity House of Temple Ga is a step back in time so this lovely romantic and vintage wedding inspiration was the perfect match for the Victorian farmhouse setting. We were thrilled to add a pretty pastel palette of blooms to this day and the chance to work with this talented team of vendors. A beautiful pastel paper suite set the tone for the day with pastel candles, vintage decor and the cutest bar cart for the cake. We loved seeing the dreamy photos on the Perfect Palette and know it will inspire many 2018 brides with their wedding planning especially if they love vintage romance.
